The 2026 Juneteenth Celebration – Hagerstown is a three-day cultural observance, community gathering, and historical reflection honouring the enduring legacy, survival, and contributions of Black Americans. The observance begins with the Memorial Prayer Brunch. This gathering honors the lives and legacies of Deborah Parson and Herman “Skip” Davis Jr., centering faith, reflection, healing, and the collective strength of Black families and communities. Presented by the Friends of the Doleman Black Heritage Museum (DBHM), the celebration is rooted in the historic Black community of Jonathan Street and serves as both a remembrance of the past and a declaration of continued resilience in the present. See June 19 and June 20 for additional activities which are a party of this celebration.
