In the late eighties, Bowie Maryland native, Pete Lancaster, briefly moved to Cleveland, Ohio. After studying the blues and becoming obsessed with where it came from, Pete sold his pickup truck and bought a guitar. His influences are many and come from every stage of the early blues timeline. From master like Sonny Boy Williamson, Mississippi John Hurt, Mance Lipscomb, John lee Hooker, just to name a few. From then on Pete became a veritable one-man blues army, as he sang the songs of old blues masters while simultaneously playing acoustic slide-guitar, rack-mounted harmonica, and stompin' box.
