A Celebration of American Community Theater

The Maryland Community Theater Festival Association (MCTFA) presents an adjudicated one-act play competition annually. The Potomac Playmakers have been selected to host the 2026 festival and competition from January 30th through February 1st, 2026. Community theaters from all across Maryland will be coming to Hagerstown for this event. The plays will be open to the public. Specific dates and times will be announced once the total number of plays to be performed is known. Check the above Playmakers website closer to the event for more details and times.
