Cannons & Caverns Bus Tour

Washington County Historical Society travels back in time to visit our historic landscapes. First stop of the day will be Antietam National Battlefield, site of the famous 1862 Civil War battle. Dr. Tom Clemens, an Antietam Battlefield Guide and author, will join us for a tour of the battlefield by bus. After a catered boxed lunch, we will head to our second stop, Crystal Grottoes Caverns, discovered in 1920. It is the only public, commercial cave in the State of Maryland. Click on link for details.
