Miller House Museum, 135 West Washington Street, Hagerstown, MD 21740

Friday, August 14 2026 from 06:00 PM to 08:00 PM

The 1955 Fairchild Sports Car Races drew an estimated 15,000 spectators and over 200 of the best drivers in the country. Hagerstown's hotels were fully booked, and local service garages and car dealerships were packed with mechanics handling exotic sports cars like Ferraris, Jaguars, and Maseratis. One of the drivers, Phil Hill, even went on to become America’s first Formula One Champion in 1961. You don't want to miss Bill Stoler presenting this fascinating talk! Doors open at 5:30 PM. Refreshments and one complimentary drink ticket are included with each ticket. This month's cocktail will be a classic cocktail from the 1950s.
